1. We have a detatched garage. I have unsuccessfully attempted, ahem, several times to unlock the back door with my minivan remote. Word to the wise, deadbolts will not unlock with a wireless remote…no matter how many times you push the &*^%*)^ little button. However, it will most likely make you laugh out loud at yourself…again.
2. I enjoy Hannah Montana’s music. Sorry to disappoint you, Jen.
3. The kids and I have a dance party almost every day. See #2. However, Damian is usually NOT invited. I don’t like dancing in front of anyone over the age of 12, including my husband. Side note: I bust out my best moves when I am in the car or home alone.
4. I write things on my to do lists even after I have done them, just so I can cross them off.
5. I have never downloaded any music! Nope, never ever. But I do have a running list of songs when that day arrives. My taste in music varies from classical to love songs to country to R&B. When I am alone, my dial always finds non-kid friendly stations (or Jen’s CD mix) that bring out the ‘thug in my white girl body,” to quote my thug twin Becky. It also causes my ‘I am so cool’ facial distortions that come only when busting out my best moves. See #3.

Ummm hello! I've seen your best dance moves both in person and in the car. Remember waking up totally depressed somewhere in New Mexico and playing Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" on Damian's iPod? I totally saw the Jami-getting-out-of-the-early-morning-funk car dance, and it was awesome. Of course, I was attempting to shake my pregnant booty in the passenger seat. Probably not too pretty to watch.
AND there was the street corner in Chicago? Okay, we weren't actually dancing but we were head bobbing until we actually understood the lyrics to 50 Cents' "Just a lil' bit." Plus when two white girls dance on a corner in Chicago, they probably get arrested.
i'm scared... because i'm afraid that if i ever heard Hannah Montana's music - I'd like it... so I'm going to stay away from it for a while until Ava gets into it.
BUT with the influence of a freakin cool cousin like Eden, that day is quickly approaching!!
I'll keep the mixes coming until you "brave" the downloading thing yourself!
I write things on my list that I've already done just to cross them off again. There is something VERY POWERFUL in that crossing thing!

Jami, I enjoy Miley/Hannah too. I listen to her on my ipod when my kids aren't around! Infact at her concert this summer my friend and I were probably more into it than our kids! Go ahead - dance away!!
Kenna just put a Hannah Montana voice/song in her new Build a Bear and we have been jamming to it all day. And same about dancing - I do it all the time at home w/my kids and start thinking - "hey, I am good" but that is all over once I am around anyone else.
Hahaha. I totally do the check-list thing. That's awesome. But, I'm with Jen, I can't stand Hannah Montana's screaming...oh, that's right, she calls that "singing". LOL
Your so cute.
I meant "you're". Wow, I need a nap.
I am sooo glad I'm not the only one! Well, not about Hannah Montana and not downloading music, but everything else yes. If you ever start downloading, you'll never stop, it's addicting! hehe You go girl, shake what yo' mamma gave you!
I love it! Can I copy this for my blog? Well, actually I might not want to as honest as you:)
