pinkalicious...

I am the homeroom parent for Eden’s first grade class this year. My first assignment for the year was to collect donations for the theme Pinkalicious (based on the children’s book). The parents were asked to donate anything related to the theme, basically anything pink.

Thankfully, the parents came through sending donations in, and then I put them together in the basket that will be auctioned off at the school’s fall festival. Each class has a different themed basket, and all the profits go directly to the school. Last year the baskets brought in almost $3,000 for the school. Here is the finished perfectly pink Pinkalicious basket.

That's a great idea for the school to do! Love the basket, looks like you had a lot of donations, that's great! Don't know that I'd spend $3000 on something like that, but it's for a good cause. Couldn't have been too hard for you to pull something PINK together! hehe

That's such a great idea! Caden's school does baskets and this year they did a Monday Night Football theme. Next year I'm going to suggest Pinkalicious. That book is so cute!

Bonnie, every class has a basket. I sure hope someone wouldn't offer 3 grand for a pink pile! The 'junk bow' was courtesy of my cute sis Linds. It was so difficult to part with but I knew it had to adorn the pinkalicious basket. Dirt, I got pink coming for your bday buddy. You ask. I deliver!
